Since 1888, Harcourts has proudly worked in our communities everyday to fulfil people’s dreams of achieving a home. Alongside that we have also built a long and enthusiastic history of supporting thousands of community initiatives to benefit tens of thousands of our neighbours.
After asking our Harcourts team in 2008 if there was a better way to invest in the communities where we work, live and play, their overwhelming response led to the launch of The Harcourts Foundation in Australia and New Zealand.
Today, the Harcourts Foundation has raised over $2 million in just five short years and has assisted hundreds of charitable organisations throughout Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA, and has helped literally thousands of people in need.

Our vision – what we want to achieve
Being positive caring members of our communities is an important part of who we are. The Harcourts Foundation will enable us to better support our team in the way that they wish to support their communities. We have a clear focus on providing grants in areas where Harcourts offices operate to reputable community-based organisations which need funding for projects and initiatives designed to benefit as many people as possible.
We are a 100% Charity
No management fees, salaries or running costs of the Harcourts Foundation are taken from our donation account. Our National Board of Directors, Coordinator, Accountant and Regional Ambassadors all donate their time and expertise, meaning 100% of all funds raised go directly to the charities where they are needed most.
